Welcome to artist Yayoi Kusama’s Obliteration Room, a gallery exhibit in Brisbane, where kids were given stickers over two weeks to transform a blank white space with colored dots. Sounds like a cool DIY project that you could try at your home if you’re brave enough. While kid’s art projects can become big messes, I think the beauty here is the limits of the materials used – white background with only the colored dots given to the kids. So if you want to try this in a playroom at home, think about limiting the material palette before starting. Let us know how it goes.
