Baby-Safe Beanbag Coffee Tables via West Elm

April 9, 2008

Beanbag Coffee Table from West Elm

Just the other day, my wife and I were taking inventory of our house to see what we needed to change to make our home baby safe.  You see, our daughter is just showing signs of wanting to crawl and our house just isn't ready for a crawling baby yet.

One item in our living room is a pair of glass topped side tables - the ones with just a window-pane thin piece of glass.  These have to go, we said.  But what do we get?

Serendipitously, I found these beanbag tables this morning.  They're perfect.  All I need to do is find out if you can zipper off the covers to wash them.

personally i have found nothing but problems from products bought at west elm. they look great, but they do not last long.

Personally not heard of West Elm but these look like a good idea. However, for $175, a bit off budget for I would say most parents where I stay.

Agree with the glass having to go but why not get something made of wood and just watch the child?
