London Kitchen Clock

We’re back for the new year after some much needed rest, so what better way to start the passing of 2008 with a time-themed post?  Over at Remodelista, their recent kitchen feature "Clocks as Decor" got me thinking if any of you are using a clock as a design feature in your nursery or kid’s room.  Wall decals might be all the rage these days, but a simple clock makes a dramatic design statement too.  What do you think?

Yes!!! We have a large clock as a focus of our nursery. It’s stainless steel with cut outs instead of numbers. We put in pictures from our daughter’s first year. E.g. 1 o’clock is 1 month old, etc.

She is now so obsessed with clocks that for her 2nd birthday we had a giant clock birthday cake.
