For Dads Only: Secret Agent 007 Sony Laptop

Sony's 007 Bond Spy Bundle

Stumbled across this and couldn't resist posting it.  Sony's 007 Sony TX 007 Spy Bundle is a "toy" that may make dads lust with gadget madness.  After all, minivans, diaper bags, and even the coolest stroller can't make up for a toy like this.  So Moms, if you have an extra $3900 laying around - go ahead and make your man's day.  If not, then an afternoon matinee to the new Bond movie without the kids will make it up to him.

The bundle includes:

- VAIO TX 007 ultraportable PC with 11.1″ screen
- Sony Cybershot T50 007 branded digital camera
- Privacy screen
- Aluminum attaché case
- Exclusive 007 welcome letter
- Serialized glass photo certificate

So you wanna build a treehouse?

Left: Ilana Diamond for New York Magazine; Right: Treehouse Workshop

Daddy blogger, MetroDad, recently wrote about these crazy $100,000 treehouses in Long Island, and it peaked my interest to find out more about this boyhood fantasy.  Seems like if we can go overboard on cribs and strollers, then an over-the-top treehouse is a no-brainer.  I found these following links for dads and their kids to indulge their treehouse fantasies.

Ultimate Guy Diaper Bag by Storksak

Storksak Jamie Diaper Bag

British diaper bag designer, Storksak, has made a beautiful cowhide leather diaper bag.  Storksak has a knack for making diaper bags not look like a diaper bag, and the leather Jamie bag is great looking enough to own even if you don't have a baby.  Yet this bag has two insulated pockets, changing pad and lots of organizational pockets with a wipable interior lining.  Oh yeah, it's so cool, Brad Pitt has been seen with one.

For Mothers: Frank Gehry introduces his jewelry collection at Tiffany's

Frank Gehry Collection at Tiffany's

Frank Gehry has designed a new jewelry collection for Tiffany, and we love it.  The organic nature of Gehry's architectural forms translates to this collection for Tiffany.  The above Fish line includes pieces made from rare and exotic woods like acacia, ebony, and pernambuco, and other materials like black gold and cacholong stone.  The collection also includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and pendants.  Not exactly for children, but certainly for design-loving mothers.  Think Mother's Day, guys.
