A tale of two high chairs

in Furniture

Modern design takes on many forms, as obviously evidenced by these two distinctively different high chair choices.  First, designed by Australian architect, Sally Dominguez, the retro looking Nest High Chair is made of easy cleaning UV stabilized polyethyline.  The seat is designed to hold your child in a safe "racing seat" posture for safety and comfort.  Plus, the powder coated steel stem can be converted to lower the chair to booster and low chair heights as your child ages.  Already a winner of many design awards including the Australian Design Mark.  Available in white, black, and orange.

Next, the Babylon Highchair, from Brooklyn, NY baby furniture designers Argington, is made from baltic birch finished with a non-toxic, ecologically safe clear finish.  Aside from the simplicity of it’s natural finish, the Babylon easily adjusts to eight different heights allowing you to seat your child between 36" counter and a 19" coffee table heights.
