There's a new website, Bouf, that helps independent designers sell their modern designs online. "What Etsy is for crafts, Bouf is for independent modern design" says Mocoloco. Judging by the designs available in its initial launch, we suspect that we'll find lots of cool things to report to you. For our US readers, we'll have to wait for the community to grow outside of its British and Europe delivery range.
Our first Bouf find is the Tyred Chair from British design studio, Play Design Ltd. Addressing the need to make use of recycled tires, The Tyred Chairs comes in small and large sizes with your choice of fabric. Great fun idea – if they can only figure out how to make a recycled tire chair cost less. Prices start at £300.00, not including shipping.
