While the choices for modern designed children’s products grows, there are still many parents who have their noses pressed up on the window longingly looking in. They love and desire the contemporary look, but just don’t have the deep pockets.
Well, the landscape will be changing this fall when high-end designer and manufacturer NettoCollection introduces its new line of reasonably priced nursery furniture called Cub. The Cub collection will include a bookshelf ($299), a crib ($499), a changing table ($550), and a toy storage locker ($375) all in a painted white finish over pine. A mixed pine/white finish will priced just slightly higher.
We think this move is a stroke of genius by David Netto. The children’s market is yearning for more modern nursery options that are reasonably priced, and it’s smart that one of the design leaders decides to do it himself before someone else did.
