While Coochicoos is a fan of modern nurseries, we will still applaud nursery designs that are well done. For more traditional nurseries with a contemporary aesthetic, it's worth checking out Wendy Bellissimo's work. While you might be familiar with her nursery decor product line at BabiesRUs, see how she puts it all together in her celebrity portfolio.
And whether you're a dedicated modernist or not, you have to love her philosophy on creating a child's room – "the ultimate room for a child is to attain the goal of a calming yet inspiring environment.”
Image above is Wendy's design for Brooke Shields' first nursery. Alex Kingston's baby nursery is below.

Wall mural as art carries over to Teri Polo's nursery below.

And finally, a nursery for twins for Lisa Anne Walters.

Is this the same crib as your top picture? It’s simply beautiful. I must have it!

I love Wendy Bellissimo’s work. Her designs along with the birth of my two children is what gave me the inspiration to specialize in children’s room interior design. I love her philosophy on design and keep it in mind whenever I design a new space.
