When buying toys, I have to admit that sometimes the most appealing kid’s toys are the ones I want to play with myself – and that’s how I feel about today’s Etsy find – John W Golden’s City Blocks [$18]. If sold out, check out Golden’s collection of block designs that include robots, birds, dogs, and other objects.
UPDATE: Just heard from the artist who wanted to let us know that his blocks should be considered “art” blocks and are not intended for play by children.
I don’t think they would hold up well to kids handling them. They are really just meant to sit somewhere, preferably out of reach of little hands and mouths.

Those blocks are sooo cool. I really like the design. I cant believe that those are actually childrens toy blocks.
