Nina Rappaport-Rowan calls her Kimochi Doll creations the "toys with feelings inside". Inside each of the four Kimochis are emotions that can help children express and understand what they are feeling inside of themselves. Emotions range from happiness, to hunger, to sadness, anger and sleepiness. Even cranky, proud and frustrated are represented in little emotion buttons that can be put inside a Kimochi. Word has it that child therapists are embracing Kimochis as a communication tool when working with children. They’re also pretty cute too.
